Time of transparency. Primarily, it’s a phenomenon of societies that perceive women in the context of youth and beauty stereotypes. At the menopause age, women change physically and mentally. For many women, it’s the time when children leave home, parents die, it’s the time of goodbyes but also the time of new beginnings, new relationships, new passions. Often, at this age, women define themselves anew. The gradual approach of making women socially invisible to society, influences most of them, to various extent. Not all women feel personally transparent, but notice their colleagues do. Some feel this way all the time. And finally, some agree that social invisibility perfectly describes the current state.
